Every month, we highlight someone who makes The SEED the do-it-together food movement that it is. This month we highlight Eleah, a student who has made a big impact on our work from far away in Victoria, BC!
As a Research & Program Assistant with Fresh Food Rx, Eleah was integral in creating structure and organization within FFRx last semester to ensure none of our participants fell through the cracks and could access the food they and their families need.
As a dietitian herself, Eleah understands the health benefits (and potential barriers) to eating more fruits and vegetables, and applied that knowledge when designing the program and working with participants.
Eleah is personable, easy-going, and a pleasure to work with. With her help, we secured additional government funding to help us plan our next steps in growing the FFRx program. Thanks, Eleah!
