For Keep Kids Fed At School Coordinators, there is a description of expectations for food purchased for your programs on page 17 of the F&F Program Coordinator Manual: starting with “Student Nutrition Programs (SNP) are required to adhere to the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) Program Guidelines and are encouraged to offer the healthiest food options.” For reference, here is a link to the MCCSS Nutrition Guidelines. Before adding the product to the Wholesale Shop The SEED will consult with the Children’s Foundation to ensure it is appropriate for distribution to schools.
