Every month, we highlight someone who makes The SEED the do-it-together food movement that it is. This month we highlight Caleb, a staff member who joined our team in July through our Good Food Work Experience program!

From day one, Caleb showed up eager to learn and with a great attitude, and instantly became a star on our team. Always ready to jump in where needed, he has helped with so many aspects of our work including around our Community Food Warehouse, packing groceries, delivering groceries, picking up local food from the Elmira Produce Auction, and enthusiastically running the SEED Market stall at the Guelph Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings.

We’ve had customers call in to specifically shout out Caleb and what a big help he is. He always shows up for his community in such a real and positive way.

Recently, we were very happy to offer Caleb a full time role here at The SEED. Hopefully you will get the chance to meet him sometime when interacting with our team. Thanks, Caleb!

The careful organization and the creativity that The SEED demonstrates projects to others, and sparks ideas about new and improved ways to grow our Guelph community.
